TheSpringboroand Beavercreek School districts have substitute levies on the ballot. Substitute levies, if approved, essentially allow the districts to collect additionaltax revenue from new area home construction.

Several other districts, including Miamisburg and New Lebanon, are asking voters to approve five-year renewal levies. Those levies would not increase taxes.

And, Kettering, Vandalia-Butler, and Miami East district officials are asking voters to renew operating levies andto make them permanent.

Polls open Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.
