What's Great in Dayton: March 3 - 9, 2017
Take a trip to "Toontown." Tonight at 7:30 pm, up in Troy will present the 1988 animated film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This has no cost and includes an introduction to the film, café style seating, popcorn, and soft drinks.
Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder is a performance which won the New York City's Bessie award and is a tale of men on a chain gang in the American South. Two other new works will round out the program. The three dances focus on triumph over persecution, the mind of a choreographer and Africa's enduring soul. This is Saturday, 7:30 pm; and Sunday, 4:00 pm; at the Victoria Theatre.
Women's Day Celebration is a chance to connect and share with women from other cultures. This event is designed to honor and celebrate YOU! Activities include art, dance, yoga, and more! There is no cost and breakfast and lunch included. Saturday, 9:30am - 2:00pm; Grace United Methodist Church.
The Lincoln Park Civic Commons are now accepting artist submissions for its 29th annual festival. Artists may submit their fine arts for jurying into the festival through March 31.
