Tonight head to downtown Dayton where locally owned businesses are celebrating their own “independents” day for the , 5 to 10 pm. Check out local retailers, enjoy the food specials at independent restaurants, and take in a few performing arts – time is running out to see Disney’s The Lion King at the Schuster Center…that show rolls out of Dayton on Sunday.
is he region's most spectacular fireworks display returns to downtown Dayton! There is food, entertainment and family fun. The Festival begins at 1 p.m.; fireworks at 10. This is Sunday at RiverScape MetroPark.
And also on Sunday from 1 – 10pm is partnering with Ned Pepper's and The Hole in the Wall in the Oregon District. The Big American Block Paw-ty will ensure fun for all ages, including: live entertainment from local artists, DJ's, games, a dunk tank, and food trucks vendors. This event is family and pet friendly. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to SICSA Pet Adoption Center.

And finally Rosewood Gallery is looking for entries for the 10th annual HWD… Height, Width, and Depth. This is a juried exhibition celebrating three-dimensional artwork by artists from Ohio and surrounding states. Established in 2007, this is the region's only gallery exhibition focused exclusively on sculpture. Deadline is Friday, July 8.
