2 Film Festivals Coming To Town In Virtual And Live Formats

Two film festivals will soon play in Cincinnati, though in two different formats due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Women in Film Cincinnati will present the Better Cities Film Festival, featuring short movies profiling cities' efforts to improve. Cincinnati is among the cities profiled in the series.

The Better Cities Film Festival plays Sept. 26 and Oct. 3 at the Hollywood Drive-In in College Hill.

Joining Cincinnati Edition to talk about the festival are Women in Film Cincinnati President and filmmaker Jaime Meyers and Women in Film Board Member, event chair, and filmmaker Laure Quinlivan. You can watch a trailer for the festival here

Meanwhile, the Indian Film Festival of Cincinnati returns for another year, but will move to a virtual format.

The festival's director, Ratee Apana, joins Cincinnati Edition to preview the event ahead of its scheduled release.
