Politics Chat: 2 Hamilton County Sales Tax Issues On The March Ballot

Kentucky holds its primary elections next Tuesday, May 21.
Kentucky holds its primary elections next Tuesday, May 21.

In the March 2020 primary, Hamilton County voters may be asked to repeal a 0.25% increase in the county sales tax approved by the three Democratic county commissioners. The Hamilton County GOP is mounting a petition initiative to repeal the tax.
