NBC has delayed the American Ninja WarriorCincinnati episode by one week, to July 8.

American Ninja Warriorwas thrown off schedule this week when the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs went to a decisive Game 7 on Wednesday, pre-empting the summer reality series.

The Cincinnati auditions episode originally was scheduled for July 1. It will air 8-10 p.m. Monday, July 8, on NBC (Channel 5), says Leslie Schwartz, NBCUniversal publicist for the series.

More than 90 contestants tried their luck Friday, May 24, and into the early hours of Saturday, on the obstacle course erected on Second Street in front of GE Global Operations Center.  That location was chosen so the Cincinnati skyline provides the backdrop.

The next night the finalists competed. That episode was originally scheduled for Monday, Aug. 19. It is not known if that air date will change. I'll update this post when I confirm the air date for the second Cincinnati show.
