Securing The Future Of Nonprofits With 'Pride'
The Leadership Council for Nonprofits supports its more than 160 members in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southwest Indiana by offering development programs, training, resources and networking opportunities. The association has an economic impact of over $850 million in the Tri-State.
Leadership Council will hold its annual Securing the Future Conference March 6, featuring keynote speaker Alton Fitzgerald White, a graduate of The School for Creative and Performing Arts.
Best known for his role as Mufasa in the Broadway show The Lion King, White is also the author of My Pride: Mastering the Art of Daily Performance. At the conference, White will share his message of service – taking responsibility for and deriving happiness from commonplace achievements – as a philosophy that anyone can get through each day with satisfaction, pride and a sense of accomplishment.
Joining Cincinnati Edition to discuss the Securing the Future Conference and Leadership Council for Nonprofits (@LeadershipCoun) are Council Executive Director Jenny Neyer Berg; and Program Coordinator Jack FitzGerald.
The Securing the Future Conference takes place Wednesday March 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Schiff Family Conference Center on the campus of Xavier University. The deadline to register is February 27.
