'The Conners,' Nathan Fillion Return To ABC Oct. 16

The Conners,minus star/creator Roseanne Barr, and former Castle star Nathan Fillion, return to ABC Tuesday, Oct. 16, after most of the network's new and returning series make their fall TV debuts.

ABC's new schedule rolls out premiere week  (Sept. 24-30), starting with Dancing with the Stars Monday Sept. 24. The spin-off Dancing with the Stars: Juniorsdebuts Sunday Oct. 7.

Modern Family's10th season begins Wednesday, Sept. 26. Grey’s Anatomy starts its 15th season with a two-hour show Thursday, Sept. 27, followed by How to Get Away with Murder.

9:31 p.m.: Single Parents. PREMIERE.Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Saturday Night Livealum Taran Killam star as -- wait for it -- single parents.

10 p.m.: A Million Little Things. PREMIERE. Seven Boston friends, who feel "stuck in life," bond after the death of a friend.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 27

8 p.m.: Grey’s Anatomy. Season 15 premiere.

10 p.m.: How to Get Away with Murder. Season 5 premiere.

10:01 p.m.: The Alec Baldwin Show. PREMIERE.Baldwin interviews two celebrities in prime-time.

TUESDAY, OCT. 16

8 p.m.: The Conners, ABC. PREMIERE.  A revamped Roseanne returns without Roseanne Barr, but with the rest of the cast from the spring debut.

8:31 p.m.: The Kids Are Alright. PREMIERE.A comedy about an Irish-Catholic family in the 1970s living in suburban Los Angeles. The pilot episode was directed and executive produced by Finneytown native Randall Einhorn.

9:30 p.m.: black-ish. Season 5 premiere.

9:30 p.m.:  Splitting Up Together.  Season 2 premiere.

10 p.m.: The Rookie. PREMIERE. Nathan Fillion (Castle) plays a 40-year-old small town guy who becomes the Los Angeles Police Department's oldest trainee.
