Services for Everett Cork, the former WCIN-AM DJ who died Sunday, will be noon Saturday, Nov. 4, at Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church, 9991 Wayne Ave., in Lincoln Heights, his hometown.

Visitation starts at 10 a.m. at the church.

The Kennedy Heights resident was the keeper of the flame for WCIN-AM, where he worked many years, and organized staff reunions after the station changed to Oldies WDJO-AM (1480). He revived the R&B sound of old WCIN-AM with his  online radio station.

Daughter Di'Anda Putnam posted this message on Facebook Thursday:

"Hello everyone. I just wanted to reach out and let you all know that we finally have arrangements for my father. The home-going celebration for Everett Cork will be in two parts:

"Services will be held Saturday, November 4th, 2017, at Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church (9991 Wayne Ave; Cincinnati, OH 45215). Visitation is from 10 AM- 12 PM and service begins at 12 PM.

"The burial will be on Monday, November 6th, 2017 at the Dayton National Cemetery (4400 W Third Street; Dayton, OH 45428) at 11 AM. All those wishing to travel to the burial site will need to meet at the Thompson, Hall, Jordan location on Winton Road at 10 AM.

"…We appreciate all of the calls, cards, and visits so far in this difficult time. We can tell that my dad is so loved, and we know his memory will live on."
