It was on this date in 1535 that twelve Anabaptists ran naked through the streets of Amsterdam. This was in protest to the Catholic Church and its treatment of the poor. And it was on this date in 1899 that Milligan, OH recorded the lowest temperature ever recorded in the state. The temperature was -39 degrees Fahrenheit.
