Loud But Peaceful Protestors Greet Delegates Arriving For The Republican National Convention

As expected, loud but peaceful protestors greeted the delegates as they arrived today, taking to the streets as the delegates were leaving their hotels for their evening activities.

A group of more than a hundred peaceful protestors blocked traffic at the intersection of 9th and Lakeside, not far from the hotel where the Ohio delegation is staying. Protestors included people from Black Lives Matter, the anti-war group Code Pink, and various other liberal causes. Police on bikes, some wearing body armor, surrounded the protestors, but there were no apparent altercations. The protest broke up after about an hour.
