Issue 1 opponents raise concerns over parental rights
Ohio has had a parental consent law on the books for decades to govern minors’ access to abortion.
No wording in the proposed constitutional amendment on abortion and reproductive rights addresses that specific issue.
Those opposed to Issue 1 say it would.
