Dwight D. Eisenhower turned his WWII military victories as Supreme Allied Commander in Europe into political currency, which led him to serving two terms in the White House from 1953 to 1961.

His granddaughter Susan Eisenhower reflects on his legacy in her 2020 book, How Ike Led: The Principles Behind Eisenhower’s Biggest Decisions.
