Labor day traditionally marks the time when general election campaigning kicks into high gear.

Prepare for canvassers to be knocking at your door and, of course, the ads.

Over the past two months, we have seen a significant shift in the political environment from one that appeared to favor Republicans heavily to more of a mixed bag.

Today on All Sides with Ann Fisher we are taking a look at the forces behind that shift and what to expect between now and election day.
