Daily new coronavirus cases in Ohio have steadily increased from around 400 to more than 1,000. For the first time in two months, Ohio saw an increase in weekly hospitalizations.

Gov. DeWine last week announced a new alert system for spotting COVID-19 spikes around the state, but stopped short of mandating masks or announcing any reversals to his reopening plan.
