Emerging technologies are those concepts that could lead to the wonders of the future.

For example, the technology to virtually teleport you to a distant place where you will be able to feel the handshakes and hugs of fellow cyber travelers. Or a system to pinpoint ground zero of a food-poisoning outbreak in minutes – maybe seconds.

Today on Tech Tuesday, a Scientific American editor shares their predictions for the future of tech.

Guests:

  • Sophie Bushwick, associate editor, Scientific American
  • Chandra Steele, writer, PCMag
  • Russell Holly, contributing editor, Android Central
