The Socioeconomic Inequality In Cancer

Cancer mortality rates in the U.S. continue to drop, but not for everyone.

According to the American Cancer Society’s annual statistics report, the cancer death rate is 20 percent higher in the nation’s poorest compared to the affluent between 2011-2016.
