Fifty six years ago, President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy held a dinner in the recently renovated White House. The night is considered " the dinner of the century" with many influential guests in attendance.

A few of which include astronaut John Glenn, writer Robert Frost, and the father of the atomic bomb himself, J. Robert Oppenheimer. Author Joseph Esposito was so intrigued by the history of the event that it drove him to write a book detailing the night.
