Women in Politics
Although women are slowly gaining political representation, they only make up about 19% of Congress. Today, only 104 women serve in the House and Senate, a number that is almost double what it was twenty years ago and a figure that has not kept pace with other countries. This hour, we're talking about barriers that women in politics still face and looking at how far women in politics have really come.
