War on Civilians

War has a devastating effect on the civilians inadvertently caught in the crossfire. The horrors are compounded when civilians are purposefully targeted and torn from their lands and homes.

This hour, we take a look at humanitarian crises in Syria, Yemen, and the Middle East. We also take a look back at the humanitarian crisis in Sudan and South Sudan.

  • Hugh Naylor, Middle East correspondent for The Washington Post
  • Iyad Azrak, Syrian doctor and activist
  • Bol B. Aweng, former “Lost Boy of Sudan”
