Ohio State Prepares For The National Championship Game


This week, Steve and Thomas discuss the upcoming National Championship Game, The streak the Columbus Blue Jackets are on, the trades the Cleveland Cavaliers have made and tips for staying active in the winter.


Ohio State will face Oregon Monday night on ESPN in the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship. Patrick Maks from Eleven Warriors joins the guys in studio to talk everything from Cardale Jones to uniforms.


Just when we thought it might be a lost season, the Jackets surprise us again. They are 12-2-1 in the last 15 games, vaulting them back into the thick of the Eastern Conference. Aaron Portzline from the Columbus Dispatch talks about how they’ve been able to crawl out of the basement of the Eastern Conference.


The Cleveland Cavaliers have been busy in the front office. JR Smith, Timofey Mozgov and Iman Shumpert all join the Cleveland Cavs 2.0.

Steve Brown grew up in nearby Richwood, Ohio and now lives there with his wife and sons. He started his journalism career as a weekend board operator at WOSU while majoring in journalism at Ohio State, where he also wrote for the student newspaper The Lantern and co-founded the organization Students for Public Broadcasting.
