Digital News EditorJared Clayton Brown is excited to join the WOSU News team a decade into his journalism career, which has included stops in several markets including Louisville and Atlanta.
Jared is a proud Detroit native and big University of Michigan fan. As a Columbus resident, he is always happy to engage in a friendly exchange with all Buckeye fans.
Jared's interest in journalism was sparked during his time at Eastern Michigan University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in English Language.
He later earned his Master of Arts in Popular Culture degree from Bowling Green State University by writing his thesis on his all-time favorite TV show, "The Golden Girls." Completely familiar with all 180 episodes of the iconic series, Jared is always eager to meet and chat about the show with other fans.
To relax, Jared loves to read, take long walks, listen to music, sing, and watch "The Golden Girls" reruns.
