Erin Esmont Rabinowitz is a longtime listener of All Sides with Ann Fisher and NPR, so she's delighted to be working full-time for WOSU Public Media after some stints as a freelance producer for All Sides.
She considers herself a lifelong learner and appreciates working with smart, caring colleagues.
Erin spent most of her journalism career in print, as a reporter for the Springfield News-Sun, and later as a city editor for the York Daily Record. She took a break from daily journalism to raise her family but continued to freelance for newspapers, The Associated Press, and now the Ohio History Connection magazine, Echoes.
She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in journalism was editor of the award-winning BG News.
Her husband, Bill Rabinowitz, may be a familiar name to OSU football fans, as he covers the team for the Columbus Dispatch. They have two adult children, Katie and Michael.
