The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will launch a new Summer Student Pass program Wednesday that provides discounted fees for any student.

The transit service will charge a flat fee of $62 for any student for unlimited travel from June through September 15. COTA said that's a savings of $150, a discount made possible by its new digital fare payment system. Students will use either the Transit app or COTA smartcard to board any fixed-route transit vehicle.

Students can enroll for the summer pass at COTA's Experience Center on 33 N. High Street, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
