Vice President Mike Pence, Joe Biden To Visit Ohio On Monday
Both major-party presidential campaigns will be in Ohio on Monday, as polls show the presidential contest is in a virtual tie.
The week kicks off with Vice President Mike Pence at Columbus concrete contractor Nickolas Savko & Sons on Monday, as President Trump prepares for a rally in Florida, his first since his hospital stay because of his COVID diagnosis after the presidential debate in Cleveland.
Meanwhile, former Vice President Joe Biden has two stops planned in Ohio. He’ll be at a United Auto Workers hall in Toledo and what’s being called a "voter mobilization event" in Cincinnati. They're among his first visits to Ohio since becoming the Democratic nominee.
This, plus a flood of TV ads from both campaigns, suggest Republicans and Democrats alike believe they can take Ohio, which Trump won by eight points in 2016.
