Police Looking For Woman Abducted At Gunpoint At OSU-Mansfield Campus

Police say Ty'rell Pounds forced Skylar Williams into a vehicle at the Ohio State-Mansfield campus on Monday.

Police continue searching for a woman reportedly abducted at gunpoint at The Ohio State University campus in Mansfield on Monday.

A release from OSU's public safety office says Ty’rell Pounds forced Skylar Williams into a vehicle in a parking lot around 11:45 a.m. Monday. The Ohio State release says Williams and Pounds know each other.

Police later said they found the vehicle Pounds used to abduct Williams, but there was no sign of the two. He’s suspected of stealing another vehicle, a 2019 Dodge Caravan, at gunpoint. Police say the Caravan is dark in color with license plate FMZ-9621.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 419-756-2222.
