Airport Touts Results Of $80 Million Renovation
It took several years and $80 million, but the Port Columbus International Airport is no longer an eyesore.
Airport officials on Wednesday unveiled the results of the terminal modernization project. Improvements include four new restaurants – Donatos Pizza, Bob Evans Express, Eddie George’s Grille 27, and the Short North Marketplace – meant to “introduce travelers to the Columbus experience.”
The president and CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority says 15 percent of renovations were performed by small and economically disadvantaged businesses.
