Columbus City Schools Performs Poorly On State Report Card
The latest round of school district report cards is out, and it wasn't very kind to the Columbus City School District.
When it comes to how many students pass the state test, Columbus earned a D.
That data was skewed by a movement last year to have students opt out of the test.
On closing achievement gaps between rich and poor and white and minority students, the district got an F.
The district also failed when it came to early grade literacy and graduation rates.
The best scores in the district came from Clinton Elementary School and Columbus Alternative High School.
