Buckeyes Go All-Black Against Penn State

Ohio State/Nike
The all-black uniforms contiue the tradition of OSU rolling out alternative uniforms for at least one game a year.

If you turn on the television to watch the Ohio State football game on Saturday night, don't immediately turn the channel: you probably have the right station. For the first time ever, OSU is wearing all-black uniforms.

There are two basic reasons why OSU went black for the game: Recruiting and money. OSU can make money selling an alternate jersey, but more importantly, an increasingly-materialistic audience of high school recruits will be watching the nationally-televised game.

For more on the new uniforms, After the Score co-hosts Steve Brown and Thomas Bradley spoke with Eric Segerfrom the OSU football site Eleven Warriors.
