Columbus A.M.E. Pastor Vows To Keep Church Open Despite South Carolina Church Killings

Local leaders of the African Methodist Episcopal Churches in Columbus went to New Orleans this week for an international church meeting.  
 
The recent killings of nine church members at Emanuel A.M.E. church in South Carolina are drawing lots of conversation, as well as the church fires.  Most agree though that they won't be overhauling security procedures.  

Debbie Holmes began her career in broadcasting in Columbus after graduating from The Ohio State University. She left the Buckeye state to pursue a career in television news and worked as a reporter and anchor in Moline, Illinois and Memphis, Tennessee.
