FBI Ups Reward For "Buckeye Bandit"

"The Buckeye Bandit" is suspected of robbing at least 20 Central Ohio banks since 2013.

The FBI says it’s increasing its reward for the bank robber dubbed The Buckeye Bandit.

The man earned the nickname for his choice of Ohio State apparel during robberies. Authorities say he struck again Sunday at a bank on Sawmill Road in Dublin.

He’s suspected of robbing at least 20 Central Ohio banks since 2013, and robbing at least three pharmacies.

The FBI says it’s now offering $10,000 for information that leads to his arrest and conviction. You can see pictures of the suspect on our web site, wosu.org.

Steve Brown grew up in nearby Richwood, Ohio and now lives there with his wife and sons.
