Columbus Double Murder Suspect Wounded By Police
Columbus police say a double murder suspect was shot and wounded Wednesday by officers near Parsons Avenue and Kossuth Street. He was taken into custody shortly after the killings.
The police department says two Columbus police sergeants were in the Parsons / Kossuth area when they heard gunshots and saw what they believed to be a man shooting another man in a parking lot. More officers arrived and fired at the shooter wounding him.
Two victims were dead at the scene. They were identified as Jenea Harvison and Donell McDonald.
The suspect has been identified as the estranged husband of Harvison although police have yet to release his identity.
