New Honda Leadership On The Way
Honda Motor Company says it will change its corporate leadership. The unexpected decision follows recalls of vehicles equipped with airbags made by Japan's Takata Corporation. Corporate leadership consultant Kevin Scott says the change at the top is a response to an air-bag defect scandal. "Honda has faced increased scrutiny as they have been challenged to respond to, there have now been five deaths relating to their air bags. So they are making a change internally to signal this new direction." Honda's new C-E-O has ties to Ohio. Takahiro Hachigo worked at Research and Development in Raymond from 2004 to 2006.
