Dems Announce Convention Date

Columbus continues to be in contention for the Democratic National Convention. The democratic party announced today it will hold its national presidential nominating convention the week of July 25th. New York and Philadelphia are also in the running. The final selection is expected in the next couple of weeks. Republicans plan to hold their national convention in Cleveland beginning July 18th.
