Coroner: Woman Died Of Aneurysm, Not Injuries From Fight

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office says a Circleville woman who died during a street brawl died of a brain aneurysm. An autopsy of 21-year-old Brittany Jeffers showed no signs of blunt-force trauma or other major injuries. Police say Jeffers willingly engaged in the March fight that likely elevated her blood pressure and caused an artery to rupture. Jeffers’ death was originally listed as a homicide and her mother says she still thinks her daughter was murdered.
