Police say a body found on a Interstate 71 led officers to close several miles of a major interstate artery near downtown Columbus during the morning commute. Columbus police blocked northbound Interstate 71 north of downtown after a traveler reported the body early Wednesday morning. All lanes have since reopened. Police said multiple drivers reported they thought they might have hit the body. No further details about the person or the cause of death were immediately released.
