Casino June Revenues Down; Columbus Has Uptick In Table Games
While all four casinos experienced overall revenue drops in June, one casino saw an increase in table game revenue. Hollywood Columbus table game revenues were $5.2 million in June, a 3.5 percent increase over the previous month. Columbus was the only Ohio casino to see an increase at either its table games or slot machines. But the slight uptick was not enough to offset Columbusâ overall 1.5 percent revenue loss. Statewide, June casino revenues were $68.6 million. That was the least in the four full months since all four casinos opened, a decline of nearly 5 percent from May. Horseshoe Cincinnati took the biggest hit with a 10 percent revenue decline. In Cleveland and Toledo, revenues were off more than 3 percent. Ohio casinos began opening last year. Cincinnati rounded out the four when it opened in February.
