Another housing report brings more good news for the Central Ohio real estate market. May was a good month to sell a house in Central Ohio. The best month, actually, says Ohio Association of Realtors President Chris Pedon. âItâs really our best month on record,â? Pedon says. Pedon says May brought the highest number of home sales since April of 2010 and marked the 23rd straight month of growth, the longest stretch in 17 years. Pedon expects growth to continue, and says the region should be relatively immune from any potential housing bubble. âI think Columbus, Ohio will be insulated from that and weâll have good, steady growth, but nothing that will put us back to where we were a few years ago," Pedon says. Pedon says inventories are less than optimal, but real estate agents are still turning houses as people realize the improving equity in their homes.
