Ohio Wesleyan Celebrates "42"

Today’s opening of the film “42â€? is hitting home in Delaware. The film documents Jackie Robinson’s struggles and rise to fame as the first black player in Major League Baseball. He was signed to the Dodgers by Ohio native and Ohio Wesleyan University alum Branch Rickey. Rickey’s grandson Branch B. Rickey says the film takes some liberties with history. "But they've kept the value, they've kept the spirit," Rickey says. "There isn't going to be anyone go to this movie and just watch it casually." Rickey made his comments on All Sides with Ann Fisher. Ohio Wesleyan University is hosting a series of events in conjunction with the film's opening.
