Boy Dies Three Days After Being Pulled From Icy Pond

The five-year-old boy rescued from an icy pond last week has died. Columbus Police say Elijah Walker died yesterday at Children’s Hospital, three days after James Jenkins died trying to pull the boy from a pond inside the Eastland on the Lake apartment complex near Eastland Mall. Walker’s death is the sixth in the same pond since 1998.
