Three Columbus Banks Robbed On Same Day
Police are seeking information about the men who separately robbed three Columbus financial institutions on Tuesday. A man with a handgun jumped on a teller's counter at a Chase Bank on West Fifth Avenue yesterday morning and demanded money before fleeing. Early Tuesday afternoon, police say a suspect with a scarf covering his face demanded cash from a Kemba Credit Union on North High Street. Just moments later, a man believed to part of several previous robberies implied he had a gun at a United Mid-West Savings Bank on Reed Road and walked out with money.
