Prosecutors: Luckie Diverted $130,000 To Personal Account

Dem. State Representative Clayton Luckie has been charged with 49 criminal counts after the FBI and local prosecutors say he set up an elaborate scheme to divert $130,000 in campaign funds to a personal account. Authorities unveiled the indictment against Luckie early Wednesday. FBI agent Ed Hanko says Luckie repeatedly submitted forged documents with the signature of a fake campaign treasurer. "Every signature and every submission he made since 2006 was false," Hanko said. Prosecutors say one strong piece of evidence against Luckie is a $625 dollar check that was made out to the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, but was deposited by Luckie into his personal account.
