Former Buckeye Great Charged In Delaware Road Rage Shooting

Police in Delaware say former Ohio State football great James "Jim" Stillwagon has been charged in yesterday’s road rage shooting near downtown Delaware. Police say Stillwagon was formally charged with felonious assault this morning and at last report remained in jail on $350,000 bond. Police say Stillwagon was riding a motorcycle near Plain City when some type of incident ensued with a man driving a pickup truck. Police say the two followed each other closely for 14 miles before the shooting on a U.S. 23 off-ramp onto East Williams St. The man shot was treated and released at Ohio State University Medical Center. Stillwagon started at Ohio State for three years, played on the 1968 national championship team, and was the first OSU player to win the Lombardi Award, given every year to college football's top interior lineman.
