Italian Man In Custody For Hit-And-Run Death Of Powell Woman

Italian police say the driver in the hit-and-run accident that killed a woman from Powell has turned himself in. The man's car had already been identified using video from nearby traffic cameras and automobile paint found at the scene. Police have not publicly identified the man, but they say he claims to have fallen asleep at the wheel before striking and killing Allison Owens. The 23-year-old was working in Tuscany as a tour guide, and was said to be jogging along a heavily-trafficked road while wearing an iPod when she was killed.
