After consecutive days of troubling reports on poverty and foreclosures in Ohio, analysts brought more bad news today: about 700 Ohioans left the workforce last month. The statewide unemployment rate ticked up to 9.1 percent last month, the third straight increase after 14 straight months of decline. Professional and business services lost the most jobs last month, followed by manufacturing. Services industries and education and health services gained the most positions.
