There May Be a Bright Spot on Ohio's Economic Horizon
At the same time Ohio grapples with high unemployment numbers and dwindling income, there is a bright spot on the horizon. Experts say a new study by the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State shows venture capital investment in Ohio was up fifty percent last year at the same time national averages are down by twenty percent.
Paul Cohn is the Regional Director of the Ohio Capital Fund. He says the trend is important because early investments are vital to creating the next generation of ohio employers. Cohn talked with WOSU'S Marilyn Smith.
