Central Ohio Veterans Offer Advice to President-elect Barack Obama

Many communities in Ohio observed Veterans Day with parades and other activities to recognize the sacrifices made by those who have served the U-S in the military.

In Newark, at American Legion Post No. 85, veterans, their families, friends and the public enjoyed a free breakfast before the annual Veterans Day parade. WOSU asked several vets what advice they would offer President-elect Barack Obama.

Offering advice to President-elect Obama on this Veterans Day were Mike Bader, Mike Kelley, Dale Bradshaw, Bill Burkamp, Michael Smith, Billy Smith and Jim Francis at American Legion Post No. 85 in Newark.
