Worthington Industries Founder Dies
The founder of Worthington Industries died Friday after a long illness. John McConnell was born in West Virginia, the son of a steel worker, and grew up during the Depression.
He began Worthington Industries in 1955. The company today employs 8,000 people in 11 countries. John P. McConnell says his father's legacy is how he treated people.
John H. McConnell was 84 years old.
