Late Winter Storm Bears Down On Ohio

Forecasters say Ohio is in the path of a major winter storm that could bring double-digit snowfalls to areas along Interstate 71.

While most Ohio counties are under a winter storm warning, the National Weather Service says the heaviest snow will be dumped in a band stretching from Cincinnati through Columbus and on to Cleveland, Akron and Youngstown.

The forecasters say 10 inches or more could accumulate over a 24-hour period ending at midday Saturday.
