Columbus jury declares Timothy Howard innocent

The jury in the wrongful imprisonment trial of Timothy Howard today decided in favor of the 52-year-old. After two days of debliberation, the majority of the four man-four woman juryfound howard was wrongfully imprisoned for committing a robbery in which a guard was killed in 1976. howard has long maintained his inocence. howard also wants financial restitution for the twenty six years he spent in prison. He must now file a claim for monetary compensation with the Ohio Court of Claims.
